Yes, or probably even a new strut mount, on the right side. Everyone tells me to fix that rusty wiper motor too. I was looking over the car recently, and I'm seriously thinking about painting the whole car soon. The roof is total garbage, and I'm starting to get some little rust spots on the bottom of the chassis here and there. New York State sucks for that. If I'm going to complete an AWD conversion on this car, I'm not going to sit and watch it rust.
It's tough to decide if I shouldn't just replace the shell again, but I'm not sure there's that many of them left. Finding a good one near me, would be like searching for hens teeth on the moon.
Totally off topic, I was on my way home from criuse night at the local 1/8 mile tonight, and my MPFI relay kept clicking off on me and killing my engine. I was logging with link, and the log just ended as if the ECU power had been shut off. First time it just stalled,(before I got to the thruway) and restarted without issue. Then it lost power briefly while criusing in gear twice, then just died. I was pissed because I was on the thruway, and it was dark out, and to top it off, raining.
I think there's three possibilities:
1) Either my ECU is craping out (bad caps or something)
2) Water was shorting out my MAF (Somehow I doubt this)
3) I should have removed my ECU from the car before I did all that welding.
Or maybe all three, I don't know.
I went and took a piss, then came back to the car and tried to start a log. It didn't find a connection. I tried a couple more times, and it started to log. I knew then that it would start, so I fired it up and drove home with no problems.
I should have sold it to that guy at the track tonight. He said he was driving his Audi, saw me do a pull on the thruway before, and he was just speechless. He wanted to buy my car real bad. I told him there's no way, I'm not done building it yet.
Now I have to deal with intermittent death syndrome. SERENITY NOW!
SERENITY NOW!
