I'm looking to throw a half inch spacer on each side and give them a shot... the car is a street car and would like to have it rub as seldom as possible, but with a car making alot of traction I would like it to have as much meat on them as possible...

who has run the 235/60/15 ET streets?

how did you like them/ how did they hook?

how bad did they rub?

how long did they last for?

thanks in advance
Andrew.

Thats a huge tire for our cars....you would need coil overs to even have a chance of fitting.

We run a 26" M&H bias ply drag radial on the street without problem, just needs some spacers. The car does have coilovers, but it wasn't because the tires were too tall.

what size tire is he running? If I can get away without running spacers that would be great :) I would much rather have my tires setup inside the wheel well...

I started off with some GC coilovers w/ 300lbs springs & the Koni sports. Later I added some Weld Draglites 15*8 rims with 4.5” backspacing and M&H 24.5"*8.5". The tires stuck out about a 1.5” I ran that set-up once at the track and found that the tires were hitting the bolt heads that hold up the plastic fender well while making turns. The damage was minor, but still pissed me off a bit.

My new set-up consists of two Centerline one-piece rims that are 15”*7” with 5.671” backspacing, Hoosier Drag Radial 225/50/15’s and some Hypercoils 500lbs front 450lbs rear.It doesn’t look like summit has any more wheels like the ones I bought on clearance for $150ea.

I’ll post up pics if you’re interested in seeing what they look like.
