hi everyone! Im just introducing myself. Im new to the csm camp after owning several mustangs. I've always been interested it the power potential of the 4g63 and after stumbling onto turbomirage.com and lilevo.com i learned about this forum. I just bought my first csm yesterday, and its a 92 plymouth colt gl, 1.5L 12v 5-speed. I can't wait to start posting some questions and comments and tearing into the colt.

Welcome!!

I've also owned a couple of mustangs before I bought my CSM. Strangest part about it is that I had more 4 banger turbo mustangs than V8 mustangs. (Luckily I have never owned a 6 cylinder one!)

yeah never had a 6 banger either. I've had 4 mustangs ranging from fox body 5.0's to new edge cobra and there just seems to be something so much more rewarding to building up a csm.

Welcome to the group Slobra!
Also a mustang fan here. Dual/single cam Mods to pushrod smallblock fox bodies to FE powered classics, I've had my hands into all of them at one time or another. If I wasn't a mitsu guy... :)

Ford > all, end of paragraph. I love mitsus, and would never want to work on any other 4cyl motor, cept for maybe a 2.3L turbo SVO, but in terms of power producing V8s, Ford makes everything else obsolete. I'm a huge Mustang fan and have worked on several fox bodies and SN95 body styles, and can honestly say that for some reason that a majority of my DSM friends would love to have mustangs just as well as high powered DSMs. I almost think the two go hand in hand. Welcome to the forum and your CSM build will hopefully be very rewarding.

Jason

I agree. My best friend is a former dsm owner, now he has an 04 Mach 1. Now I got to trade him some of my old cobra parts for some 4g63 bits.
