since you have no interior anywys why dont you just leave the shift arms on there and run dsm shifter cables and a dsm shifter assembly in the car? Then you could buy readily available short shifters. I never understood why nobody does this.

Hmm I've never thought aabout it that way I do have a DSM shifter and cables I'll take a look at it, thanks.

yeah, no problem, that is what i plan on doing, it just seems a lot more simple then changing the arms on the tranny. Im pretty sure the dsm shifter assembly will even bolt in but im gonna weld mine in with 2-3" spacers under it to raise the shifter up closer to the steering wheel.

I ended up just cutting and re-welding my shifter arm. They are a b!tch to remove imo.

Looking foward to seeing the work they do, I have heard they do really good work. I have only been up there myself a few times and didn't get to see much dsm stuff, but I did see the rb26 swapped 240sx in progress.

here are the 91' DSM spindals thats are going on it. I blasted it all then a fres coat of paint, I should of taken some before pictures. All i can say is they came from a junkyard. I filled the clean bearings with synthetic grease.

Brakes are all togeather fronts and rears. I used synthetic grease through-out. I like the red caliper paint. :D

thats why i made a tool to remove the shift arm pin with the tranny still in the car...

soon, i found after i picked up 3 stitches in my left thumb after smashing it with a 5 pound sledge i needed something a tad better.
