Awesome!

I've spent alot of time lately talking to Kiggly over email on how to set up an auto. I figure it's easier to hit the "Go Baby Go" button when not having to clutch :-)

Yeah, Kevin's the man, he helped me out when I started the auto thing.

I just let the Haltech control the nitrous engagement, its easier than holding a button.

Yeah he did, then pulled that motor and put it back in the AWD then went 8's on it.

He said he couldnt control the FWD car thats wh they stopped running it. it got sold to someone else who isn't running it as far as I know.

I just do this without sponsorship out of my two car garage, married with two kids. I dont have the money to dump into these cars like I did when i was 18 and lived at home.

didn't there use to be a metal spoiler on your car and it was parked outside some houses on the road? Congrats on the times. Anthony

Yeah, I went without the spoiler, it weighed more than the fiberglass trunck lid.

I had talked to a few guys that run fast fwd, most said it didnt help all that much so, off it went at least for a while.

Those pics you saw were from this last spring when I was getting the car all buttoned up.

tom, congrats on the impressive run. more impressive is that you did a sub 9 second run on a STOCK bottom end, and an auto tranny [granted, it's a beefed up tranny] but trhat says alot for the auto trannys...

Congrats dude.

The trans was real simple , its a Alto hp friction and steels rebuild kit, a translab shift kit, and the new billet Precision industries torque converter.

The converter was the only real expense 800 bucks., but that close to what you would pay for a alum flywheel and a killer clutch when you are all said and done.

I love the honda guys faces when you say its on stock axles too!!

Right on! Mitsubishi's strength, durability , and power making potential still never ceases to amaze me! I showed this thread to the guys at work(big domestics fans) The looks on their faces were priceless! :D

I take it those wheelie bars aren't exactly wheelie bars but distribute more friction to the front wheels by pushing the abck of the car up?

We need some mroe pics of the engine setup and stuff!!!!

thanks,

Jimmy
