Weather has been good, money has been okay, and the car needs some love. I still noticed a small oil leak which was really bothering me, one from the pass side trans axle and oil pan. I changed them both no pictures but as far as I can tell no more oil leaks.
While able to remove all but one bolt off my exhaust mani fold I am hesatent to cut it. It seems thats what its come too, ill try to cut the nut off the stud, but what is the size of that little nut? Will the exhaust seal okay with 5 out of 6.
While accepting temporary defeat, I had to scratch the maintenance bug that bit me. I have a few more parts on the way. Im trying to hold off doing the lower ball joints and tie rod ends until I replace the front wheel bearings and seals. Still havent done the 3g brake like to 4g conversion tomorrow may be a good day for that. The major things Sunchaser needs is suspension all around, 4 new tires and possibly rear brakes.
I did end up upgrading the ground cables though, the stock terminal didnt fit well and cable was old so I changed the out. I am also working towards doing the big 3 on my car which is thicker wire ran
Battery positive (+) to alternator - From the positive terminal on your battery to the alternator positive (+) post
Engine block to chassis ground - From engine block to bare chassis metal. This is to complete the circuit of the alternator itself, allowing for a stronger ground.
Battery ground (-) to chassis ground - From the negative terminal on your battery to your car's chassis
Yesterday I also wrapped up the rear end swap, the lugs needed trimming for the rims to sit flush to the spacers. Much better now
driver side rear is flat so makes for a bad pic. BAM
