Don't cry when nobody wants to make parts for your community. If you no longer want one of these for any reason or need some time, please just let me know so that I can offer them to others.
PM'd

No need for the snarky comment, could have PM'd us for faster reponses as there wasn't really a time frame set to come back and view the status on these.

I wonder if we can get enough interest for you to make some of these? Not the forward bar connecting to the b pillar but just the c pillar bar itself.

I am trying to get the car braced up as much as possible without putting a cage in it for auto x. Maybe there would be interest in a floor bar also?

I did a mass pm to everyone on the list as soon as the parts were ready. I know you got it because you eventually responded to it. All the unclaimed parts are sold so thats fine. Next GB will be paid upfront.

I never recieved a PM, I just double checked. I replied with a PM to your thread post when I came back to this thread and noticed the parts were done and I was being called out.

I second xxNocturnalxx. I just sent a PM to yoshifab about my payment info without reading all the way to bottom of this thread. If my 2 bars have been sold I'll be pretty pissed about that. I didn't appreciate the comment that was left either. You are assuming that people are flaking when there was a miscommunication here. I never got a PM and don't check the boards but maybe once or twice a week. I didn't keep up with this thread and figured the group buy had died out since so much time had passed and I was never contacted by the initiator of this group buy, jomorris2909, and/or the fabricator, yoshifab. I just double checked my PMs as well and never a message. I'm not trying to be personal or start any backlash here, just stating where I'm coming from. Ask any of the guys on here that have sold parts and/or cars to me, and they'll tell you I'm not a flake.

If my parts were sold, then so be it. Let this be a lesson in group buys for the next go around. If you initiate the group buy, you should be the liaison between the vendor/supplier and the board members. That means you should keep a running list, make sure everyone sends payment, and manage the group buy. That said, if you are a member and commit to buying parts, don't be a flake because you could potentially cost the vendor/supplier time and money. Times are tough so if you want it but can't afford it, don't commit to buying it. If board members are delaying payment, send them a personal PM and/or email and give them a few days to respond. I feel like this wasn't done in my case. Sometimes I log on just to see if I have a PM. If I don't, I sign off.

All that said, yoshifab, thank you for the products you provide to the CSM community. I know I'm grateful for you taking the time to run a batch of these strut bars, as are many of the members here on this board. Maybe we can get another batch going in the future.

I have now been contacted by everyone on the original list. Everyone on that list who has said they still want one will receive one. Seems like there may have been some PM issues, if that is the case I am sorry for making a "snarky comment". I don't know what else to do besides PM everyone listed and post in the original thread. The dust has settled and I have a few bars left over. The people who have showed interest that were not on the list have been sent PMs for shipping info. If for whatever reason you did not receive my PM, please PM me your zip and paypal address.

If there are people that missed out, I am down to start another list. I can make the other bars too, it will just take a 10 minimum to make it happen.

Got my strut mount bar in today, but i was headed out to work as they got here. Haven't gotten to look at them yet, but I'm excited!

Thanks again Yoshifab!

Last two are gone. Anymore interest? We are building some Volvo production parts at the moment but could sneak in a few more strut tower bars if anyone wanted.

Thanks for talking it out like adults guys

New idea for future group buys:

Everybody that orders a product in the future will have to supply a email address to the initiator/vendor so that they can be contacted directly in addition to the board PMs.

Joe
