Dead pic. Speaks volumes about the engine that was trying to be shown.
Attacking the messenger and not the message is a very poor way to debate.

A blatantly wrong statement. Do some research (google) and you'll find that top fuel motors are very much based off of the 426 Hemi.
A better argument for you would be "why does the NHRA limit engine design in their rules?" then I probably wouldn't have a good answer. :)

Read about the history of God's motor here: :P

The thread is 100% for fun, I wasn't attacking anyone.

The engines used in Top Fuel and Funny Car start lives as billet chunks of metal. The fact that dimensions and specifications close to the original 426 Hemi are utilized does not mean they are "426 Hemis".

Attack is a strong word, I should have labeled your statement as an "ad hominem" argument.

And the top fuel and funny car motors are based off of the mighty 426. Like you have pointed out, they are made out of aluminum now.

You know you'd love to own a Hemi-powered Mopar Shaun. ;)

I would stuff a 32 valve Ford modular engine from a Lincoln Mark VIII into any big-body lead slead I may ever own. Then add turbos. 6 bolts per main, aluminum block and heads, two cams per cylinder head, four valves per cylinder and variable intake runner length.

My dream is to twin turbo a 440 in a 1972 Chrysler New Yorker for the win. Mopar or no car? lol

I have a 440 laying around my shop. It came from one of these:

Way cooler than a New Yorker in my opinion.

No, it doesn't. Pentroof does not equal Hemi

The hideaway headlamps on that Monaco make for one sharp looking C-body Mopar, minus the bumperettes. I'm partial to the '72 New Yorker as I used to own
one. It was a dealer demo model that had all of the available options for that year minus the heated seats. Options like automatic climate control, full power (seats,
all six windows, antenna), automatic adjustable headlamps that had a daylight sensor. Car rode like a dream and ran strong, but I would only average 7.5 mpg.
Same mpg as my built 340 Dart at the time.

I'm sure the 340 was God's engine at one time too ;)
