so, i found out yesterday that my clutch m.cyl. is leaking, perhaps the root of my shifting issues as i've been double clutching to avoid grinds and it may work just because im pumping up the pedal.

anyways. i have long legs and the stock clutch throw in these cars is long and the pedal sits high, i was wondering if there is a larger m.cyl. that bolts in or is close to bolting in a'la the elantra brake master cyl, that i could then adjust the clutch further down and shorten the throw.

Look at at 1G DSM unit. They seem the same except for the arm; which is removeable.

I use the 1g dsm on mine.. when I swapped from auto to manual I sourced the parts.. the peddle had a large heavy piece that the rod screws into.. and connects to the peddle itself.. if you have this large piece you need to cut off about 2-3 threads from the dsm rod... i have to replace mine cause it pushes the plunger in to far and wore out the master in 5k miles.. plus with the few less threads you have more of a adjustablity for the peddle.

They do make a smaller bore slave cylinder (3/4", vs. 13/16") which would act similiar to a larger master. I don't know of a larger master though, if they do make one I want it.
