I found these mounts on the original turbo c53a mirage that i have on my backyard.I suppose if it was a 4G61t car these are the mounts i need to swap the 63T on my 1.5L chassis.

If that is an original C53a turbo car, then yes, everything will drop in using those mounts.

You might want to ask around, I think it may be different from the c53a trans mount. They may be matched as a pair.

Measure how thick the sway bar is, the turbo cars had thicker swaybars than n/a cars. I'll try to find what the thicknesses are for sure but I want to say 19mm for n/a and 22mm for turbo. Swaybars are one thing that many people don't change when they do the swap.

I was close, 18mm 1.5L, 22mm for 1.6L turbo.

So the f5m33 mount will fit the tranny side mount that is currently on the C53A?

You can definitely tell its a turbo car by the sway bar thickness, you can also see the power rack in the pic. He has a pic of the firewall plate in another thread and the numbers come back to a turbo trim car.

No, they are completely different however you can mod it to fit. I made a jig from an original 89 turbo mirage trans mount a few years ago that I use but you must be able to weld/fabricate. Much easier to just buy the correct mount.

If i mail you the the f5m33 tranny mount ylu can modify it so it mount on the 1.5 chassis mount?

Sure, for $25 but honestly by the time you do that and pay for shipping both ways you could buy the mount that crunchymilk has for sale. I do this type of work for a living so I would really like to help out but it might be cheaper to buy his.
