Anyone else running ECMlink on their 4g61? I was gonna change the load scale factor to match the 1.6L displacement but noticed it won't accept any value greater than 100. I'm just curious if anyone is running V3 on their 4g61 and if you're using any peculiar settings because of it.

I asked a very similar question a couple of months ago. I too am running ECMLink ver3 on my 4g61t. I did not mess with the load scale at all. But I did tweak the timing and target AFR tables to reflect the lower load value used with the smaller engine. I used a '90 AWD ECU with a 2g MAF and PLX wideband. The car runs great and idles like stock.

Yeah, I remapped the timing tables, haven't done the fuel yet. I am gonna run speed density eventually. I still have the stock exhaust minus muffler and slightly hacked 1g MAF right now. Within the next two weeks I'll have a full 3" exhaust and PLX on it so I'll be able to tune it better.

I am buying the SD bundle from ECM Link this week. Goodbye massive restrictive MAF!

I didn't have too much luck with the speed density. I have to play with it some more.

You have something odd going on like a bad MAP sensor or what-have-you though. Switching to SD should be easy and better than MAF based-tuning.
