This is the white nylon part on the drivers side that bolts from inside (3 10mm bolts) the the wiper compartment. The hole has wore in an oblong pattern that causes the output splined shaft to push sideways when using the wipers and the wiper looses contact from the glass. I need one with a round hole that isnt worn out. I could also use the small rubber boot that goes under the wiper arm and also the acorn nut that holds the wiper on. These look really worn also.

Thank you

Rich

If you're talking about the plastic socket in all the linkage ball/socket pivot joints, I got new ones in an assortment package from O'Riellys auto parts for about $3.

No, its the hollow white nylon sleeve that protrudes thru the top of the fire wall on the drivers side. It has 3 10mm bolts that screw downward near the drivers side hood hinge. The wiper shaft rides inside of it keeping it centered. The hole in the center have grown oblong and allows slop in the wiper arm while in use. I wont have my camera till tomm, but will try to get a pic off the web.

those are a bitch to take out sometimes as the bolts holding them down are usually rusted and end up stripping them because it holds the plastic thing down that bosco needs. goodluck

They should still be there as its not really a part that everyone needs. If the bolts dont snap, I need those 3 also. Plus the wiper hold down nut and rubber sleave under the wiper arm if its not disentigrated.

Thank you very much. The bolts on mine turned pretty reasonable but didnt back them all the way out when I saw the problem with the rounded out hole. Before you bother, see how much slop there is in the bushing where the shaft comes up through it. Makes sure it round and not wore.

The assemby I have is off a Colt Vista, so I don't know whether they are the same as a CSM or not, but here are a couple of crappy pics of what I have:

it looks as if I need one of the triangle shaped pieces. The wiper motor is on the passenger side of my car so Im guessing thats what that circle piece is on the end of the linkage arm. So if the motor mounts on the same on the vista, then I might neet the part on the left in the 2nd pic. I will take a look at the bolt spacing and measure it and let you know what I find. Do you have the bolts also or just that linkage piece? maybe i just should take both just incase.

Heres a few phone pics I took. For the measurements of the bolt centerlines, use the first pic. These measurements should be within 1/16" of an inch. Bolt in front left to rear of wiper shaft is 1 7/8". and from that one in the rear to the one on the right of the shaft is 1 1/5. And from that one to the front left bolt is 1 3/4".
