I would've LOVED to have this car. It had a spotless grey cloth interior and had absolutely 0 rust on it and was BONE stock. How was yours Shaun?

Mine had sat for 9 years. The dash was cracked, the interior was faded but the body was rust free. Even the pinch welds under the doors were good. It was a 2.3 turbo automatic. I got it for $250.

The SVO has the same engine as the Merkur. I assume the SVO has a solid axle rear end whereas the Merkur has independent rear which can be upgraded with a TurboCoupe independent 8.8" rear end.

Yes, the engine is the same, but that's where the similarities end. The SVO's were 5-lug, they had Koni adjustables, different ECU mapping, way better interior, etc etc. The SVO was the only fox body stang to ever be 5 lug. They also look awesome.

Pull the codes off the tcu http://www.plymouthlaser.com/tcucodes.htm if 3 or more codes come up your tcu is bad....
