Hi All,

my tacho meter is not working. i've changed the noise filter as well as the transistor (which sits behind the IM) but nothing worked for me. i need to make it work asap, please help.

PS:its a 4g63t colt

has it ever worked? Is this a swapped car? are you running a 90 DSM tach filter?

yes it use to work, its a swapped car.
90 with filter as in the sticky.

infact i just checked the connectivity to the white wire, its there but for some reason its not working. what do check now? i'm stumped.

try another tach if you have access to one. I got lucky on my third tach, the first two did not work.

can i install after market tacho meter? if yes then how?
