Ok i sprung a huge oil leak in the mist of fixing it i noticed the the previous owner just left the belt off the balance shaft is this another way to eliminate the bs that i have never heard of ? I have a spare case with a proper delete should i replace it and can i do it with the motor in the ca or leave it? I know the shaft is kind of long?

The front one, the belt can just be left off. Some people leave it in, to not have to remove the bearings and such...

Yup... a lot easier to just leave the front shaft i then have to pound out the old bearings and install new ones. Plus is doesn't totally block off the oiling ports and allows some oil to still flow out the ports in the bearings... A common problem with BS delete is too high of oil press. after...

As long as he removed the rear balance shaft and replaced it with the stub shaft or machined it down to just a rod you will be mint.
