I live my life one massive turbo at a time. For those 1,000 rpm's of powerband or less, I feel truly alive...

Its a love/hate around here.

The car is nearly comical. Hopefully we can work through the issues and have some stupid videos to put up. People talk about a car that does not stop pulling, this car is that to a T. It has been fun and a challenge. I am glad we were able to push the envelope a little and see some promise.

It actually makes "full boost" at 8000rpm. It is maxing out the wastegat spring right at 8000. So nah nah nah. It does make full boost by 8000.

I will quote again, and 22 psi isnt really a good "full Boost" for that turbo.

LOL You need to get a setup for monster 50psi. of fun for those 1,000 rpms. Bring the rev's to 11k rpms then you will have 3k rpms of powa and.. Kaboom.. 3k blowen transmissions.

What is the current and planned compression ratio (if this insanity continues)?

I hope the plan is to switch to methanol. Then the real fun begins.

It currently has 8.5:1 ross pistons and stock rods. It has been on ethonal for almost four years. No plan yet on more compression. Just working the bugs out.

And of course 22psi is not enough. But he is short on fuel so until that is upgraded that is likely all we can do.

But I don't forsee too many issues. We don't plan on more than 9500rpm at this point.

Insanity is good.

Yes. I don't see this car ever running on methonal. That is a large investment and Jason has a budget as most of us do. Maybe E98 or E100, but not methonal.

Stock rod's on that huge turbo, I hope they at least have 3/8 studs.
