I have no other cams these are what cam on the car when i bought it along with the head. So I guess the guy that did the work before must not have known to much if he put NT cams in there. They are more aggressive correct?
No, they are not more aggressive. They are designed for an engine that makes 140hp at most.

Are 2g 96 talon cams ok to use? how about the lifters from that motor also?
Yes, you can use those cams and those lifters. They're not going to be any better than the lifters you currently have though.

So i guess the C,D combo of cams is supposed to be the best stockers. My 2g cams say A,A it was a 5 speed But I've read somewhere the A,A cams are from a automatic car. Maybe someone change the motor in the 2g i had before? Should I not use the A,A cams? I did some measuring with my micrometer and the R4 cams have a slightly larger lobe from what i gathered. But I'm sure they open at BDC and TDC in different manors.

Anyone have this C,D combo laying around that upgrade to some HKS cams or something?

You would never, ever feel the difference if you swapped from one set of stock cams to another set of stock cams. Anyone who tells you differently is smoking crack, and lots of it.

So the stock 2g cams I have would be the same as 1g manual trans cams? Again the 2g turbo cams read marking A,A for intake and exhaust cams from what I've read those came on auto cars but it was on a 5speed when i got it with the car complete.

They're not the same cams. They definitely have different specs. The 2g cams will give you more bottom-end torque but way less top-end, because they're designed for a car that has a teenie-weenie turbo on it.

The R4 cams are the stock G4CN NT cams and you don't want to use those. Throw a set of 1g turbo cams or your 61t cams in there before you put the head on the motor.
That 14b will put a smile on your face with the 61t. It'll spool pretty quickly and pull hard. I had one on my 61t with a ported 2g mani and 2g O2 housing with a 3" 2G AWD downpipe, 560 cc injectors, 2G maf, and a SAFC II and it ran like a beast!

heads already on the motor. And the cams where in before i got the car. I did run the motor like this I noticed it had great power down low but fell on it's face up top. and mid range.

So I put the 2g cams in because i couldnt find any 93-93 5 speed cams replaced the cam seals and valve cover gasket. Drive the car seems normal pull the top cover off the next day oil all over the timing belt looked like the valve cover was leaking? (sitting with fingers crossed) hoping the cam seals where ok. I ordered both for a 94 elantra to match the 1.8 head. was this a mistake?

Was I supposed to plug something on the 2g cam?

Iii I'm exhausted....

I got my palm logger also and did some log's after i reset the valve cover only to see later it started leaking again.

I'll post my results soon I can say there was no knock 0

One other thing i noticed is my Baro stays steady at .98bar no matter TPS % is this normal?

I have no DTC's

IDC at 99.6% TPS is around 74

I forget what plugs are in it i know they have a 6 in the #

Timing seems to jump around a little the marks are dead on.

I get around 8-10* at idle o2 .11 TPS .10 and about 12-15* at 99.6% TPS o2 around .80

sound normal?

MAFS around 1600hz at 99.6% TPS.. i think i'll double check tomorrow.
