Marck, I don't know what to say other than, I'm glad to be able to see the whole progress of this thing. It's come a LONG way. I remember when you first posted this thread and how I said to myself "this'll never get done". But you stuck it out and you have an AWESOME ride. You've put so much heart and soul into this thing and I can't wait to see videos of it in action. Congratulations man, it looks awesome.
BTW, those Mazda 121's are a Ford Festiva here. I had an 89 Festiva back in the day... Talk about some gutless cars. I saw one in Florida with a 1.9L HO Escort GT motor and a five speed. THAT was a fast Festiva. Oh, and Jay Leno has one with a mid mounted SHO motor that's absolutely SICK.

The legendary SHO-gun, I've always wanted one of those. Too bad there's only two of the original 6 left and one private built one that Ford dubbed the 7th. By the way truly amazing work Marck. That is one project I could never imagine under going.

Update guys, finally got the motor on the dyno. Had a serious problem with the OEM Mitsubishi Ignitor, so I could'nt get the engine to run smoothly. Switched to an MSD DIS 4 and got two untuned runs before the rear diff casing cracked. Managed 275 whp @ 13 psi @ 5500 rpm.

Problems now fixed and should be back on the dyno this weekend.

Got it up to 380 whp at 18 psi @ 7000 rpm, before the boost control solenoid quit. We mapped it to 9000 rpm and got 357 who @ 15 psi (wastegate spring pressure).

Looks like the dyno fan for the rad is hooked in to be aiming into the rad's sweet spot?

This was a 14.5 psi dyno run. I was unable to capture some of the higher rpm runs, but the power and torque pretty much follow the same trends as you can see below. The difference between the two is due to some minor changes in timing and fueling that we were experimenting with.

Making more whp than a stock Evo 4-10 makes at the flywheel, with less boost. And it's only 1.6 liters.
