Let me know when you guys head to the strip again. I won't be racing the Colt, but it would be nice to see some decent cars instead of these ricers around here.

Although, I did manage to run with a WRX today. 80 in a 35 isn't a bad ticket is it? Glad we didn't get caught. 8)

On March 8th there is another one of those Saturday street wars. We are either gonna run that or maybe even go to Sacramento to race at CMI. I will let you know what we are doing.

Is it just the camera or does it seem like the track runs downhill until after the finish?

A K20 or K24 in an EG is a bitch of a swap but damn it pays off. My buddy in Pittsburgh did it to his 92 and it's rediculous. That car is fast as hell and talk about torque... He used a 6 speed RSX type S trans. I think he has about $15,000 into the whole package with the engine, trans, harness, and ECU. Not to mention exhaust (because he has a Toda header on it), 2 1/2 inch exhaust, intake, and numerous other small mods. I'd rather take that money and put it in my Talon or Colt and make them run 10's.

I used to be into the whole all motor thing a few years ago. Its quite an awsome feeling to go that fast without any power adders. This car is still like 2200 lbs with Driver. Makes just over 300whp with just the Hi comp pistons, Cams and a tune on E85.

He couldnt seem to get the whole slip off the line thing and kept bogging out. 130mph was still pretty good for him I guess.

Here is his first run that day, he let off early but had his best 60 ft. He only went 115 on this pass. The car in the other lane is the "shop car" of one on my competitors and the 1st time we got them to line up. I think the car might have 11.2-11.1s in it up here.

That guy in the mirage definatly needs to work on the driving. 130 mph traps in an awd should see high 10's. I was running faster than him on my street tires and I'm fwd.

It was his first time racing the car, and the first time on a drag strip in about 5 years. Seems like it will do 10s pretty easy.

Over on MPF he was saying also he isn't able to use his 2 step due to lacking a clutch switch, since his car was originally an auto. I am sure once he gets a clutch switch and gets the 2step working how it should, his 60' times will be much better.
