I realized after doing a lot of reading that I wasnt going to be able to do my fuel setup the way I wanted for a cheap price, instead of half my fuel setup to just barely be able to make 700 on gas, I took the alternate route of being able that and than some on E85. Instead of running an inline 044 I have opted to run 2 in take 255LPH fuel pumps. and to maximize efficency, run -6 out of the tank, and Y it into -8 after the pumps are out of the tank.

I ordered 2 -6 bulkheads, along with 2 straight -6 pushlock fittings to go INSIDE the tank, the 255's take 5/16's line, but i will boil the line in some hot water to get it to slip over the -6 straight fittings( just to get the fuel line to work with the 255's)

Coming up out of the tank I am going to run 2 -6 90 pushlock fittings and run a couple feet of the -6 line where I will Y it into the -8 Line.

Here is a picture of the 2 bulkheads with the 2 straight/ 2 90 fittings connected.

Image

and a picture of the fitting taking the 2-6 lines and running them to a single -8... the dual -6 to single -8 wasn't cheap.

Image

From their I will take the Single -8 Line and run it to a -8 inline fuel filter, I havent purchased the filter yet but I did purchase the 2 -8 straight fittings.

Image

and from the fuel filter to the rail I am going to weld a -8 weld fitting to the Fuel rail on the feed side, connected with 45 degree -8 pushlock fitting

Image

I'm going to run a -6 weld fitting off the other side of the rail that is going to go to my Fuel pressure regulator, and from there I'm going to return the fuel to the tank via the stock return line.

thats about it for my fuel setup.

I honestly don't think the stock return line will be able to return that much fuel with dual 255 pumps. But I don't have any experience with that, but most usually upgrade the return line also. Just thought I'd point that out.

sorry, I need to go back and edit my post. The dual 255's will not be run by the stock return line, they are going to be returned VIA the stock FEED line.

Sweet man, so I was wondering... did you get a good deal on that turbo? Or how come you didn't go with a BB turbo or even a GT40R instead? Thanks for any input... :) By the way, the car is going to be sick when done! :D

I picked the gt4202 up for a couple reasons, the spool between the 4202R and a standard bearing 4202 isnt justifiable by me to spend the extra money on... that and I simply got a good deal on the turbo from Jake montgomery. I deffinately think the car is going to be pretty badass when done. the motor was put in last night and now its time to start making that engine bay look nice.
Andrew.

what intake plenum are you running in there? should make for a interesting street car (will be one hell of a sleeper) i ran a factory 4g61 n/a fwd box on a worked 4g63t vr4 motor (was around 380-400hp) and never had a issue with it over 2years of running the setup, with a 5puk clutch so was pretty roug between gears bt never gave out. so anythings possible, you dont know untill you try at least

The motor went in without a hitch... threw on the clutch/flywheel with everything else and jammed it into the engine bay. instead of a chain I didnt want to scratch all the bling bling up so I settled for a couple nylon straps a couple used shirts and some masking tape to keep everything pretty.

Now will come the hard part of tucking everything away and hiding it nicely :)

she decided it was a good time to sleep the night away..

with some weight on the front end, it tucks the tires nicely.

:o , looks good man, it would be a better idea to put those things after the motor is in so you would mess up the bling bling  , just a thought, because I did the same thing and did mess up my bling bling on my old 2g fwd, lol.
