I'm a DSM guy at heart but i have quickly fallen in love with mirages. I'll be around this site a lot. Hopefully this summer I'll pick up a nice Clean mirage. I would plan to start with a 4g63 swap, until traction gets on my nerves, because I would love to do an AWD swap. Some of the AWD threads here are so inspiring.
Anyway, hope to meet some of you in the future.
-Ryan

Sorry, not the same guy.

I figure I'd introduce myself a bit more to everybody.
I log on to this site multiple times per day and I swear there is an addiction. I had the same thing with my dsm's. Not to say I still don't have it, but I really want to get a mirage/ colt.

Just recently I may have encountered one to hold me over. Of course everybody would love a perfect condition 4g61t to start with, but that most likely won't happen.
Some guy I ran into has a 91 Blue Colt with 75k original miles, only driven 2 winters. I'm keeping in touch with him and going to look at it this weekend.

First thing, it's not white. =( Secondly, it's an automatic.

Would it be so wrong of me to tear down this car, re-paint it, and do a 5 speed 4g63 swap?

... Yeah, I didn't think so. (Sorry I'm not a fan of blue, plus white csm with black tint = sex)

Enough of me babbling, if you don't mind I'd like to post some pictures of my dsm's. Nothing special.

Ryan, welcome man, I've been working on DSMs for 8 years now so the love of DSMs is always there. I don't have a CSM but I have something better and that is a 4g63t swap hyundai excel 4 door, lol. I also have a 95 hyundai elantra that I'm building as a street/drag car that hopefully hit 10s with. I notice that you live in New England, that's cool, I live in Mass, when ever you are in my neck of the woods, stop by I'll show you my car collection, lol.

Sweet Deal. I was just home in CT over x-mas break. Haha, won't be back until May.
Is that Western, Central or Eastern Mass?
My house is in Central CT, I go to Clarkson University in Upstate NY.
