Nice find Paul that thing is MINT. If I'm correct I believe the 944s2 is the most desirable since the turbos have so many troubles.

And what the heck does the 16 Ventiler mean on the side moldings?

16 valve?

Hope its fast enough for yah! I mean compared to you CSM.

(Yeah I did just compare a CSM to a Porsche!)
Yup, it is great and I wanted one way more then the turbo because it should last longer and be more predictable in the corners under power.

it is a DOHC 16 valve (vs the SOHC 8 valve 2.5 of the stock car)

I didn't get it for a drag car. I have no doubt that a turbo colt (61t or other) will beat me in a straight line. Get into the twisties though and I will walk away from anyone without some beefy suspension mods. 208HP pushing 1310kg (2888 pounds) should be alright, but nothing crazy.

Its funny you decided on this type of car. I was going through my old magazines and came across a Sports Car International from Aug/Sept 1999 and the very last page has an article entitled "Affordable Sports" and it covered the 1983-91 Porsche 944/S/S2 It was written by Pete Stout. I haven't been able to find a copy on the net but I could scan it and post it if you're interested.

no hurry.

This this is so damn fun to drive. You can't get more unlike the WRX and still be in a sports car.

Saved! :)

Also, a few days ago the road was damp and I took the main entrance at work fast and under power.

MMMmmmm, light drift.

the "RIT Race track"

edit: satellite image shows the old entrance. The road view is correct. The old road was much more fun however.
