About me:

currently works as a government servant...still bachelor...would love to share and learn any info about cars...

About my Car:

my car is a 1992 proton saga (similar chasis as the japanese mitsubishi lancer fiore c12)..owned this car from 2002 onwards...the original engine was a 1.5 12 valve single cam carburetor...getting bored of this engine, i decided to convert to a 4G91 electro-carburetor, getting bored again...i upgraded the carburetor to a dcnf 36 weber carburetor...after a quite some time playing with this engine...decided to go for a fuel injection system which offers more room for modification...i transplanted a 4g61T and have been using until now..

Mods:
mirage 4G61T
1. TD04L twin blade from mitsubishi lancer GSR 4G93T
2. mitsubishi 4G63T evolution III throttle body
3. mitsubishi 4G63T evolution III cranksensor
4. mitsubishi 4G63T evolution III full engine wiring with coil and power TR unit
5. mitsubishi 4G63T evolution III 510cc injectors
6. mitsubishi 4G63T evolution III ecu

Future Stuff:
1. would love to add a waste gate...but i don't want to upgrade my turbo..TD04L is enough for me as I'm not a racer.. :D
2. walbro fuel pump maybe....
3. full custom made drive shafts..
4. redo my intercooler piping as my current piping now looks poor

Mad props to you sir for pulling off 3 motor swaps all going for more power and headroom for said power in mind! I need to copy your pictures to keep for reference sake. Send over anymore of your buddies if your located on the Malaysian Lancer/Proton forums. You guys are a serious boost to morale for the 2G Colt guys (C10 body styles).

Thanks for stopping by and keep coming back if you like what you see here. The one thing I don't understand much is the high end on the Protons, it must be hard to lower them without much of an issues with larger exhaust still having clearance to the body right?

Welcome to the forum. Car looks great! Can't wait to see some more pics of you and your friends cars. Got any pictures of your engine build or earlier pics of the car before mods?

*EDIT* Love the black and orange color combo and the vortex generators on the roof.

thanks for the compliment guys..

flying eagle: thanks for copying my car pic for reference purpose...if u insist me to do it, i will help u upon finding the pictures...
actually its not that hard though to lower this kind of car...its just that some kind of trend here in malaysia to have a high end (people goes for the looks....sacrificing car stability when cornering)...anyway this car doesn't have any hi-lo adjustable abs for the rear, as the abs and springs are separated...option is only for soft-hard.
you know something...there are even much more higher end compared to mine..up to the point that, if u were watching it in front of your eyes...you'll find it bizarre and peculiar

slobra: yes i do have...but not that much. will post here soon..

turbomirage89: the swap was quite easy...because this car nearly shares the same chasis as 4g63 vr4 and 4g61 mirage...just a bit of mounting modification..no modification on mounting points at all...mounting points remain the same..i would say a plug and play transplant...
there are plenty of people here who transpalanted a 4G9 series to this type of car...but not plug and play though...

Some projects with my work are related with malaysia... hopefully I could go and see this beast one day ;)
