I'm an avid DSM head and have been for the past couple of years. My vehicle list as follows: 95 GS-T, 91 GSX, 90 TSi AWD and soon to be 89 Dodge Colt. I'm an active member on tuners, talk, team-2g and moderate dsmpurity.com which myself and a couple of buddies have recently opened.

There's been a "hype" about owning a Colt/Mirage, so I figure I too would join in.

Welcome to the site. Beware though, CSM's are an addiction. I'm on my 3rd one already.

Well there isn't a hype for nothing, but usually people pop in and stay around because we are usually a pretty relaxed crowd. Is you 89 Colt originally a 1.5L version or a 1.6T verison?

I haven't officially picked it up yet nor have I seen it yet. It might possibly be a 1.5. I will find this all out this week. From what the current owner is telling me, the original motor has 80k on it.

Welcome to the forum. I myself am a DSM'r who happens to LOVE CSM's with a passion, even though I don't own one.

Well, I finally had a look at the car. Total POS. The entire radiator support was smashed in, fenders were bent. I'll eventually get one. Though I'll stick around and continue my research on these "CSMs".

Welcome aboard as already posted it is an Addiction. I too started with a DSM 91 awd (578 whp) still have, I bought a mirage turbo in 2003 after BillNUTZ got (Casper) 89 Colt turbo . I have owned it for the last 2 years stock 4g61t with 300,000 miles car makes 330whp and is so much more fun then the talon you can't imagine. again Welcome aboard.
