I am a produce manager at King Soopers(Kroger affiliate). I have a fiance and we have been together since July of 2004. I have owned 2 1990 AWD Talons, 1991 Galant VR4 338/2000, a 1992 6 bolt/4 bolt AWD LASER, a 1989 Turbo Mirage and now this 1989 Dodge Colt. I have been building and racing mitsubishis for almost six years now. Pretty much cars are my life anymore. I have tuned over 40 cars on a local level, national level and 3 cars internationally. All but maybe 3 cars have used dsmlink to tune with. I am extremely good with the program and pride myself on a bad ass tune that can be hotlapped. I have dabbled a little with AEM, but look to go further with our GT42 powered 97 Talon in the next few weeks.

The Colt's engine is bone stock. I bought it from Chris Plesko(chrisgvr4). It was a timing belt failure car. My friend Jason(jaysmirage) gave me his old 1.6L head. I used a good timing tensioner I had laying around, bought a new head gasket and timing belt from the dealer, reused the head bolts and started it up without any issues. I think I have put around 400 miles or so on the car in the past three months. I try not to drive it much so I don't tempt my self.

Suspension is the factory SHOT suspension. Floats like a boat.

Important mods to the car are a Hallman Pro manual boost controller, 1990 socketed eprom DSM ecu, 450cc injectors, 1G dsm mass air flow sensor and 1G dsm turbo cams. That is it. Just a few things I had left laying around.

Car has 119,6xx miles on it right now. Does not get driven. I am trying to preserve it and plan out the build for it. No need to drive when I have 3 other cars.

Plans are either a GT4094 or Borg Warner S366. Throw in the 1600cc injectors I have, aeromotive regulator, Walbro 255 fuel pump feeding another inline Walbro 255, stock fuel lines, convert the car to use E85 fuel and throw on my 4" thick intercooler. Leave the engine stock and enjoy a running car at low boost once things come togehter.

Long term goal is to make over 700whp, 10 second time slip at altitude, drop in an aluminum rod 2.0L engine, Custom grind crower cams and hope she stays together so I can drive it for a long time to come.

I have no interest in AWD anymore. I have had 4 AWD dsms. FWD is just way to fun. With just under 500lbs of torque in the mirage it made me smile every time the tires blew off at triple digit speeds. I am going to see if I can have my friend convert my HI8 dyno video and upload it for me. Show what I did with 34psi on the SCM6176.

Congrats on the purchase, and MAD props on keeping it FWD. Wheelspin puts the biggest f'ing smile on my face, it's not even funny. I could easily ditch my AWD DSM and pick up a Mirage/Colt project, but I love my DSM too much.

What's up with the veteran memebers making "introduction" like posts? (I'm referring to this one and Hemi-Colts).

Nice Colt by the way. Looks nice and seems to be in pretty good shape!

One small dent onthe driver's fender. And a really faded paint job. PRISTINE other wise. I actually have been meaning to put myself in this forum for some time now. Just never got around to it. Just thought I would give some insight to myself.

Plus show off the new ride. Car is truly a clean specimen. Came from St. Louis originally.

Looks nice Steven. I too have been storing my c53 away and slowly gathering up parts for the future build
That's funny, I also used to be a produce manager, the job wasn't too bad actually :)

I'm glad somebody finally bought that thing. I got sick of seeing it on craigs.

If I didn't have two cars already, I would've picked it up.
