Well I've had this car for a few weeks now, and I love it.
It's a '92 Talon TSi AWD. Runs great, has a few things done to it, but needs paint.
The previous owner did a front end swap on it. So it has the 1gb tail lights, and 1ga head lights.
I love it all, except for the lack of power steering. I have parts for that thanks to 89coltgt.
It also is in dire need of a tune. It is set to only run about 10 psi.
I don't really have a ton of plans for it. I have a set of Eibachs, along with a ported O2 housing that I want to get on there, thanks to SS. Here is what is done to it all ready.
-16g ( I haven't confirmed which 16G it is just yet)
-Fuel Pump Rewire
-2g exhaust manifold
-3" downpipe
-3" Thermal exhaust
-450's
-5 speed ecu to match the 450's
-K&N
-IPT End Clutch
-KYB GR-2s
-Defi Boost Gauge
-Outlander wheels

Congrats! In my 8+ years of DSM ownership, I've never driven or even ridden in an A/T 1g.

They are quite fun to launch from brake torquing, even with the little 13g :)

Thanks! I drive the damn thing as much as I can. I basically drive our '96 Camry to and from work during the week, then this car in the evening if I run anywere or on the weekends. It's great!

Yea the guy I got it from traded me for my seriously beat up mechanically Eclipse basically because it was a manual and he didn't want the A/T any longer. He took a beat up FWD M/T for his great running AWD A/T! I think that's a fair deal!

The trans is one thing that I will probably sink some money into before any other real engine mods. I don't want to dump $2,000 in the engine, then have the trans explode on me.

I'll tell you what, if you build those A/T trannies right, they can be fu*king beasts! It's really all in the torque converter. I think they have a pretty high stall-speed from the factory even, something like 3,400rpm?

Wow!

I haven't really had a chance to try out any launches and what not. Just played around with boosting on the highway a little. This the first turboed car I actually got to drive on the road. All my others I either blew up the electrical system (poor little Mirage hatch :( ) or I didn't have proper titling/license to legally drive it.

I want to get the maintenance caught up, then I will start playing a little more.

You should install a translab shift kit
