hey guys... i need a little help here !

hummm i have a colt 93 coupe swap 4g63T with 4g61T front disk conversion.

cuz of the new hub ( not bolt patern problem ) my 17" wont fit right.

the disk is bolted to the hub. those bolt doesnt allowed my 17" to sit right on the hub.

what would be the solution ? ( and i would like to keep my wheels since im in love with them ;) )
is there some sorta spacer / adaptor ?
or i need some wheels in particular ?
can i modif. my wheels to make it fit ?
help me plz.

thanks for the help.

p.s: sorry for the bad english...its not my first language but i try my best.

edit: here's a pix of what the wheel should look like to allowed clearence for the bolt. what my wheels doesnt have.
do you think it would be safe to use a dremel to ''grind'' those holes in my wheel then rebalance the wheels with tires on ?
the other thing that i have to worry of is the center ring. i still need to be able to easilly center the wheel.

You can either modify the back of your wheels to clear the bolt heads or pick up some 1/4" spacers for about $10 US.

what would you use to modify the back of the wheels ?
where could i get those spacers ?
and with the spacer will it be still possible to use centric hub ( ring ) to center the wheels on the hub or just some tuner nuts will do ?

I would not recommend using spacers, especially on the front! I had my rims machined at a rim repair shop. From memory you need 4 x 10mm deep holes machined into the back of the rim with a PCD of 100mm (I think!) offset at 45'.

Unfortunately most shops require that the tyre is removed from the rim before they can machine it.

You could probably do the job yourself if you had a drill large enough but you'd want to very careful with your measuring.

I ran the 1/4" spacers on the front without any problems at all but honestly it would be better to mod the wheels. I picked mine up at a local wheel shop for $7 each.

and you had no problem getting the wheel balance right after ?
no vibration at any speed when you drive ?

I had aftermarket wheels and tuner style lugnuts. I always tightened the wheel while it was still in the air and it always centered perfectly. Once I let it back down I then torqued them to spec. Always drove perfect, not one bit of vibration.

There is no problem here as the material removed from the wheel is very close to the hub centre and therefore has next to no effect on the rotating balance of the wheel.

In any case there (should) be symetrically equal amounts of material taken of the wheel and the wheel/tyre combo is balanced together. There would be more of an effect from the normal irregularities of the outer wheel rim and tyre.

im sorry to bring the post up again...but i think i found the needed spacer ... i just want to be sure that will do.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wheel-Sp ... 0096674094

8mm ( 5/16 ) in thickness...4x114.3 compatible...those spacer + tuner lug nut will do the job i think.

tell me what ya think !

They should work if you want to go that way.

I used a dremel tool on the back of my rims, just got to keep the bit cool with some coolant (antifreeze should work), this stops the bit from plugging up. I never had a problem with centering or changing the balance.
