Well in MARCH I GOT 2 CARS FROM MY BROTHER AND THEN I GOT SWAP ITEMS AND NOW I JUST GOT A DODGE AVENGER WHICH MAKES CAR #4 WELL MY PARENTS HAVE 3 CARS AS WELL AND MY BROTHER ISN'T AROUND TOO MUCH EXCEPT WHEN I NEED TO GET A MONEY ORDER CASHED BUT IN THAT CASE I JUST DEPOSIT IT TO HIS BANK AND WITHDRAWL AT ATM he knows i won't dick him bah sry about caps my computer froze while i was typing so i continued to type anyhow so I got the 2 csms I've been saving for my motor but other things come up such as tickets insurance maitence etc. Well I have a cavalier z24 and my friend coty had a dodge avenger that he wrecked and the hood fly off of and broke windshield n such so I asked him to buy the rims from it for $250 for my z24 well he said why not take the whole car it's a 95 runs perfect all you have to do is fix the body. So i haven't brought the car home yet, But it needs a windshield, hood, front bumper cover, passenger side door, and driver side door handle, fenders are dented so i'll replace them and paint, Well I start finding a ton of stuff for this car. And i'm liking what I see so I tell my dad project colt is over project Revenger has come about, So I just paid for the new SLR/X1 Fiberglass fenders today $154, Full body kit will be $340, Viper style fiberglass hood will be $314,Windshield If i can find it at the junkyard will be $25. Passenger door if I can find it at a junkyard will be $45 , I suspect it needs a new radiator but that's no big deal After market will be fine

so i'm selling my stuff and keeping the 1 colt and this is my project i may be back on here someday but once my stuff is gone i don't seem myself back on here especially when i ask people to take a pic of a stupid spring and they can't

I can't say I'd have made the same choice, but good luck!

Thanks a bunch for comment but Well how I see things is this car already runs great, all it needs is body work which I just bought some SLR/x1 fenders for it from KGS Engineering http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... %3AIT&rd=1 I'm looking at a viper style fiberglass hood and i'm deciding on a body kit to buy next. so good times

So, you picked the V6 Dodge that "couldn't" as described by all the testing magazines over the CSM (in turbo form) that swapped was the envy of many grassroots AutoCrossers when the car hit the streets in the early 90's? I realise everybody has their different tastes but why replace the whole front end of an Avenger when you can just drop a motor/tranny/turbo setup directly into a sleeper that attracts no attention until you drop the ricers behind you like flies? Hmmmm ...... :-s

mix of my brothers words and my own, Well Speeding tickets are not my friends, accidents are not my friends. I have matured I don't street race so often except when some stupid lil ricer kid rolls up on me, I'm putting less money into the Avenger, to make it nice, then I invested into my Colt Over all everything is costing around $800 to make the avenger nice as well as pushin some extra ponies out of it. You can't argue that an Avenger isn't a nice car. I mean I've always been one for Luxary over economy, first car was an 86 Mercury Cougar, then I went to an eclipse then Colt, then 92 Lincoln towncar then Colt, then another colt then cavalier z24 now i still have the cavy and 2 colts now i have an avenger and Colt swap project goes away, say what you like i see it as I can fix up this Avenger for cheaper then the Colt then I can trade the Avenger in and make payments on a vr4 3000gt or a stealth RT. this is a mix between my thoughts and how my brother explained it. He just ridded himself of a 98 BMW so oh well. He put things into a nice perspective for me. I mean ya the avenger may be slow But it'd be about the same price to do a motor swap in this as it would to a colt. I'm looking at making profit from the car later, not building a car so I can crash it, and waste all that money. Dealers won't pay much of anything for a swapped colt why put 4 grand into something i'm only gonna get 900 out of,

Your deffinatly heading in a completly diffrent direction then the people on this site are.

Anyway, if you think your going to make a profit by putting a body kit and ricey fenders/hood, then your mistaken. Once you do things like that, the car usually loose's value. But hey, it's your dealio.

Whatever you do, having fun is all that counts. Even if others dont share your views and tastes.

the guy who did the 4g63t 6bolt swap to his avenger took pics of everything I asked about...he told me exactly what i'd need it seems almost as easy as the colt swap. w/ a nicer car despite it's heavier you guys say the avenger that couldn't well you can make anything fast but that's future plans I don't want a "sleeper" lookin hatch taking my money just yet. It'll cost about the same to do that swap to the Avenger and as for ricer fenders??? i'm sorry those fenders aren't homemade pieces of crap, that hood actually serves a purpose too it has a set up much like my cavalier where the cowl actually sucks in air straight to an airbox. as for the body kit......why not? it's a clean "modified" from stock look and I want fiberglass because if I wreck this car fiberglass can be repaired ABS plastic or w/e can't with out some ugly ass epoxy resign that will never sand properly anyways. I picked up this car And decided to quit my colt project I didn;t totally leave the community here. And also an AWD swap would be easier on this car just nap a second gen set up w/ first gen motor. that's exactly what the avengers in the pics have....the guy who did the swap did very nicely....he's been able too answer, take pics and inform me upon things, now with the clutch pedal issue i was having he told me to just grab the entire pedal assembly from a second gen. that kills the whole spring dealy.Uses the 2ndgen eclipse halfshafts, so for the most part just as easy as the colt swap....he said it'd be easier to do a second gen gst swap to mine since it's the 420A because i'd just have to run 2 wires and change the ecu...soo
