honda motors can run with little to no oil for longer than you think . my friends old civic drove for a week with about a half quart of oil in it until he realized that was the reason for the low oil pressure light around turns. the car still runs great.

good car thieves don't care about kill switches, alarms, etc. even when you have all of those, some thieves just take a tow truck and tow it. basically the only way to keep a car from getting stolen is the boot. sorry for your friend though, gl to him.

You have to really want a car to tow-steal it

also, I hear that tazing rims can disable the car alarms. I've got no idea if this is true, but if the rims can ground all the way to the block [rim - halfshaft - tranny - block] then they can short out your alarm. Anybody have any speculation on this? If it's true, you can wire your alarm to a backup power source and come haulin' ass when you hear your baby screaming for help

The tazer is placed against the BODY of the car

and keep in mind that unless it's got a delay on the alarm, if it comes on again right after they tazer it, all they need to do is tazer it again to shut the backup source off.
