Its really not as laggy as I thought it was gonna be, we have 32 psi by 6000 RPMs. I know people with 37Rs that spool slower.

Heres a Vid of our 1st run. We got 3 total but this was the best ET. He only shifted at 8000RPMs on this run and it just bogged a little between shifts. Second run he dumped the clutch too fast and fell on its face, ran it up to 9000 that time and it went 10.5@142. 3Rd run was a sick launch and real hard into second and it just spun the tires all the way to redline and he shifted to 3rd without enough speed and ended up at 4000 RPMs...ran like 11.3@133. This was at 37 psi of boost with some timing removed, so around 650hp or so.

Just got back from CMI in Sacremento California, got #1 qualifier in the quick 8 with this pass. Had some minor clutch issues and ended up loosing in the semis, ring gear fell off the flywheel. Its going 120 in the 8th now. Needs to shift a little higher RPM in 3rd and 4th shift to keep it in boost I think.

Damn that is super impressive for so little time running. Are you aiming to catch Jake M.? Also are you spraying the car?

Theres no nitrous on the car either which is the most impressive part. Its really bogging into 3rd and 4th but I think some 10K RPM shifts will cure that. I think another 7-8 psi of boost and higher shift points and this could be an 8 second car.

You could use NLTS and antilag between shifts. That will cure the bogging down. I would rather shift my car at 8500-9500 than 10000 any day.

Steven

Yeah, anti-lag and a close-ratio gearbox is your friend. My buddy's 42R-powered 2g didn't fall out its powerband in-between shifts, and that was like 40psi on a low-compression 2.0 liter.

Were using the antilag off the line but Im not sure if the clutch switch was enabled on that run. For only being the 4th pass in the car it runs pretty fast. I guess were the fastest 5 speed car on DSM Link now and also the highest HP car on DSM link and we havent even been on a dynojet yet since all we have in town is an AWD Mustang.

The DNP seems to be holding up well. Have you had any problems with it?

Now you just need to catch that 8 second mirage for the quickest car on the link boards :)

Were working on it

There are two brackets that are welded from the T4 flange to the Head flange to help support weight and they have broken off at the head flange. The manifold needs to come off to weld it back on. Besides that it seems ok. The material for the wastegate crossover is alot thinner and the only reason I know is because its the only part to turn red at WOT on the dyno.
