so guys...which one seems more correct?

there seems to be a conflicting school of thought!

ive got the in-car MBC and im wondering as well, if running these vacuum lines into the cabin will cause boost spikes etc? what about the setup would prevent this.

turbonetics in-cabin MBC.

thanks

I prefer the method in your first link. I've tried both ways on my car, and using the ones right off the compressor housing just gives me a much more solid number. I'd get a small spike when I ran it off the BOV line. Either will work, but I always hook it up to the comp housing. P

lus I don't like to use Tee's where I don't need to, and the install usually looks cleaner, and less vacuum line strung through the engine bay.

I use the first one myself too. Worked good for me, never had a problem related to where i got the source from.

My pressure source is off the manifold because the gate will stay closed longer between shifts which keeps you in boost just a touch longer. I tee the BOV into that line also.

I have always used the second and had no problems. I can not even use the first one on my colt because I dont have the nipple on the elbow since I made my intercooler pipes.

Either one will work Brian. You may as well utilize the nipple on the compressor outlet  You can run the mbc under hood as well, just keep it away from alot of heat.
