Hey All,

This Little buzizng Horn in New York City is starting to pioss me off on this small hatchback. Did anyone install a louder horn? I want to do this, and I think all i need to do is install a new one, and rewire it to the old horn so they both beep.correct? Let me know how this can be done, and if anyone played with this. Thanks..

what do you mean a constant for the relay? I attach one wire to the posastive of old horn, and the other wire on the new horn, to the frame of car, and that's it right? Let me know.thanks!

He's talking about a high-current cruise ship horn, I think.

Yes, you should be able to get a better one and wire it straight in.

im talking about a boat horn. if you want loud thats the only way to go. you need a relay. it gets the positive signal from the old horn. the ground is supplied to the rely and the new horn. the other post on the rely is constant positive and the last post goes to the new horn.

Just get a set of air horns. You can find them at Shucks etc. for about $20. Typically they come with a relay. I've got a set on my Colt. I think every vehicle should have 'em.
