I installed my LSD and i was torqueing down the diff and the "magnet holder" Fell out...where does it go back in? do i really need it?

Magnets should be everywhere when metal to metal contact can happen, this way you save those precious final drive gears some serious further wear; remember this won't count for those non ferrous metals that are still passed around! :wink:

*edit* magnets bathed in the respective fluid at the bottom of the holding reservoir sound more appropriate!

As for the magnet holder I haven't got a manual to check with .... anyone remember a net spot with this pictured, or better yet just where it goes?

This may not help without a picture. It goes in the side of the case that connects to the engine, at the bottom. Greg
