Hey,

I just ran the Colt today at the Woodburn OR NHRA sport compacts.

I ran 1.609 60ft
6.515 1/8th @ 114.46 mph
9.923 1/4 @ 144.57mph

It was on my first and only pass in eliminations of Hot rod class.

I guess I need to change my sig now!!

Tom

thats pretty awesome, but the car is a race car right? i think 9.9 street car would be pretty insane.

I'd like to see a copy of that slip, and pics of your car. It has to be a full drag car. It can't possibly be streetable.

No one said it was a street car, I raced in the HOT ROD Class. I just said it was a 2.0 liter 4g63 and stock rods and pistons.

I think there is a old link to the car on the other topic about 1st time at track or something

Well, I'm a road racer, and very unfamiliar with NHRA and other drag classes. Just elaborate for us. Job very well done though.

This is the link to the NHRA web site.

Look for my name, Tom Hartshorn.

http://www.nhrasportcompact.com/2003/ev ... on1results

Hot rod is the Class for unibody type FWD in the Pro catagory, Wheelie bars and all the stuff. I was the only local able to make a pro class.

I run a PTE SC61 turbo @ 24psi and a 50 shot of Nitrous, I also use an Auto tranny.

Auto tranny? Which one? Aftermarket, or stock/modified 3-spd.

It's a 91 Eclipse FWD turbo auto tranny, the F4A33 I think is the number off the top of my head. I dont use overdrive so its a 3 speed to me.

I have a alto friction kit, translab shift kit, and a precision industries torque converter.

its shifted manually, (no TCU unit) with a custom curcuit controlled by a B&M shifter.

:o Do you have any vids? I showed some of underdog and gail's vids at work of the lowly colt and impressed a few cooworkers to the virtue of mitsubishi power.
Excellent job on the time!
