After 4 months of trial and error I finally got my colt back up and on the road.

It started with a track day and my horrible driving. I blew the diff into pieces throwing pieces of it through the bell housing and case of the trans. I ended up buying a shep trans off of another member here on the board and thats where the problems started. I had a km210 in the car originally and the trans i bought was a f5m33 which i didnt think much of. Got the new welded diff in and bolted the new trans in not thinking. Had problems with the axles first off, trial and error led me to an equal length set up and gt axles (after reading the axle thread). Then flywheel and clutch problems. When i got it all tucked away and together i noticed the axles didnt fit too well into the diff, just rattling around and after a little reading i found i had the big diameter diff which i had to replace with the correct one. Tonight I finally got the car out on the road and when i got up to cruising speed i had a TERRIBLE rattle so i pulled over and checked my trans all my mounts, all the axles and ball joints and everything i could think of. Got to my buddies house and noticed i was missing a lug nut checked all the others and turns out i got a little anxious and forgot to tighten my lug nuts all down.

I have to say for 5lbs it feels a hell of a lot better than it did before (new tune) and a big thanks to all of you for all the knowledge here on the board, it helped me out in more than one place throughout my rebuild. Thanks all and thanks for reading my long boring story

Congrats, it all seems worth it when you can finally take it out and beat on it for the first time!
