ok so im looking at all these check conectors i have, and i come to the conclusion i dont have the self diagnose check conector, is that the obd1 port. the only thing i can think ill need it for is data logging right? so when i get my data logger cable can i just hard wire it in, also what about the rest of the check conectors, do any of them go to the data logger? just another attempt at starting a thread that has been done a thousand times... no really i tried the search, really i did... thanks

Your car is not OBD1. It's actually a system made my mitsubishi. People hook up a palm pilot (or other equivalent) to read the onboard diagnostics. You only have to plug into that diagnostic connector to get a wealth of information, so that's the only place you really need to use the datalogger for. If you haven't located it yet, it's down below dash on the driver's side, and adjacent to fuse box. You don't need anything fancy beyond an analog voltmeter, if you are just trying to pull error codes stored in the ecu.

There is fuel pump test connector on the firewall of the engine bay. Also, an oxygen sensor test connector by the ecu. Those are the only two "test connectors" I know of.

^^^ The factory service manuals are located here, and detail everything in picture format: www.lilevo.com/mirage/
This has been gone over many times, these posts should be in the Newbie section if they are not 4g61/63 TECHNICAL based please.
