i've seen a few non turbo dsms, made into turbo, u just have to wire in a knock sensor and a resistor pack, the motor will hold up just fine.
It has the same exact rods and crank as the turbo one, and the pistons are made of the same material as the turbo models, just there 9-1 compression instead of 7.9-1. And to let you know 9-1 is no where near to high to turbo, it isnt that big of a worry if you do turbo it, the motor will last for a good while if your not to hard on it
