Scored this low mileage and truly rust free Laser RS for cheap. 4 bolt rear end, 6 bolt engine and five speed. Was already messed with and came with some parts so I feel no remorse messing with it further. Painting the engine bay, rewiring the front end and engine harness, BC 272 cams, Manley valve springs and retainers, 2G pistons on 1 rods with ARP rod bolts, ACL bearings, ARP head studs, FP3065 ball bearing, FP cast manifold, 3" the whole way no catalyst, ECMLink with Speed Density and all that other crap. This car is really a pleasure to work on. Haven't found a single seized bolt yet... Feel free to peruse the Photo Bucket album, I'll add pics as I make progress.

Day I got it:

Stripping the god-awful seam sealer and prepping to paint:

Actually is even more ripped apart and stripped right now, those pics are in the album.

Hush up Aaron! I'm gonna post pics here too, just not ALL of them.

The red interior is staying, just not the red seats.

The spoiler is some weird factory option. I'm undecided on it... I love the 1GB Laser front end but hate the rear ends. Best 1GB rear end is the Talon.

Agreed on the wing, kind of looks cool but not sure if it flows with the car.

I think I'd leave it just because its pretty rare. The laser was always the "weirdo" dsm IMO anyway  . Part of what makes it cool. Laser with red interior and weird factory spoiler makes it perfect.

If its a factory option then I vote leave it, it looks like a cat with its ears cropped but I kinda dig it. Way better than that one shitty picture you shared in text.
