I finally tried fitting the 1985 Proton Saga lowering springs. And they don't fit. I wonder if there is a difference in front struts between our turbo and non turbo colts.
These springs might be for non turbo struts.

I've been posting on Facebook. I haven't been on here lately. But here are some updated pics. Some have been posted on Facebook.
Transmission had a input shaft seal leak. So I had it fixed and while it was at the shop, I had a BM lsd insert I bought on here over ten years ago finally installed. Also went ahead with a lightened flywheel. And a new 2100 disk. And new shifter brass bushings.
Now running a 3"GM maf.i might move the battery back up to the front. I need to clean up the power wires otherwise.

Its more stable. I'm taking the car to Reza at Dynotune in Pickering this week to tune it. I'm hoping all goes well. I haven't changed the fuel pump yet. I want to see how much I can get out of the stock fuel pump. I am having a hard time understanding ecmlink. My issue is I dont have enough time to tinker with the program.
I will keep posting.
The 16's now have new rubber, Rims had to be drilled to fit front rotors without spacers.

If the fuel pump is like the next gen 3G style, it may have sub 140 LPH capacity. Not sure what a CSM turbo 2G came stock with, but here is the reference for the bigger brother:
http://www.roadraceengineering.com/fuelpumptechtip.htm Most of the way down the page are the fuel flow rates.

nice info.. also to add most people dont know about this lil thing but I have a accuvolt I bought back in the 90s for my stereo.. come to find out u can also use it on your cars electric system.. what it does is takes any voltage from 12v down to 10v and converts it to a SOLID 14 or 16 volts.. so your coilpacks and fuel pump produce there best output without dropping off at higher rpms due to old/weak alt/battery..

http://www.jacobselectronics.com.au/raceaccuvolt.htm

I should start a new thread with this info..(at another time lol)

So it looks like it has plenty of fuel with just FIC 750s and stock fuel pump and FuelLab filter. It went in running 13psi Boost running very rich and pushed 240hp.
Turned up boost to 16-17psi and leaned out the fuel trim and managed to hit a 277.9hp. As the intercooler was getting hotter, we started to see knock with injector duty increasing to 85% @ 18psi. So boost was backed to 16ish psi.
If I want to see more HP, it was suggested to upgrade the starquest IC and not worry about the fuel yet.

I'm more than happy with the drivability now, much smoother than before and quite more peppy.

It's painted. Still need to touch up the skirts, wiper arms, window trims and moldings.
