It's good to see my thread is still living all these years later. as far as the axle I never got around to going the half shaft route as I ended up selling the car. A few months later the tranny blew out on the new owner. I don't know where the car is right now and I haven't seen it on the road ever. If you want to do custom axles I would suggest going to some 4x4 pages as they do stuff like that. I do miss the car but I do not regret selling it as I have moved on to bigger projects but it was a really fun car due to it being a Hyundai. Haha.

Well unfortunately I sold mine too because of my ex wife, if it wasn't for that I would have kept the car,lol. I think I found the right combo for axles out of dsm mitsus, just hope it works though.

Never let a significant other sell your fleet. In some cases the car can be around longer than the relationship. haha Sorry to hear that its gone. I sold mine too. And I have no Idea where it is today.
