Hi friends.
I'm looking this thread from the first day, i have find a good MR set used here (looking to negotiate the price actually).
After searching here and on Evom, i have find good informations about Evo X and CSM spring rate:
Quote:
From lilevo.com/mirage/ 89 turbo manual
Front Colt/Mirage
89 1.5l 90 lbs.in
89 1.6NA + TC 106 lbs.in
Rear Colt/Mirage
89 1.5 92 lbs.in
89 1.6L 104 lbs.in
EVO GSR :
Springs ...................... Front Rate ........ Rear (progressive) Rate
Stock GSR ......................195 lbs.in.......... 156 lbs.in- 207 lbs.in
Stock MR .......................195 lbs.in.......... 162lbs.in- 212 lbs.in

My lowered springs h&R are rated 137 lbs.in front and 142 lbs.in rear, confirmed by H&R today.
I'm curious to see if a CSM lowering springs set fit an EVO X shock front and rear.
I think the rear is not the problem, side by side on the picture posted before (thanks Moulin13) it seem to be identical in outer diameter.
But for the front, i think the CSM top springs plate need to be used.
With a re valve work to match my spring rate, the weight of the wheels, the amount of weight resting on each tire contact patch ...
And a reputable shop to tune the combination, this setup will be a serious win like Tim says
