I ordered a whole bunch of stuff and found some stuff in the junk yard. I'll have an actual update sometime soon I hope

It's cool to watch your build and see what you do. I think that I can save a lot of guess work by watching the problems you have and learning from them. I did bite the bullet and order the ECMLink conversion for the ECU i plan to run in my J1. It's a 1G turbo Mitsubishi ECU so I have the knock board already should I decide to boost it. I'm going for the moon on the RPM's in my 1.6L, I just hope the drive line holds up.

Did you have to find stronger axles to deal with all the extra power your putting down with that engine setup? Or do the stock ones cut it?

Keep rocking the H, I can't wait to see how it ends up.

I'm going to be using stock Awd auto axles. I'm also going to be using a black box ecu of some sort

Just picked up a set of te37 knock off wheels. They are 16inch wheels to go with my gvr4 front brake setup and expo knuckles and hubs I also have. Also going to add in some new ball joints as well. I also picked a 2g vr speed/ss auto chrome ic core. All new 2.5inch piping aluminum piping as well. A gsp 50mm bov another emusa wastegate as I traded the other one. I'm going to.be going a 3 inch exhaust this time around. It's going to exit right infront of the rear tire on the drives side. Going to be going sd with a black box ecu. It going to be pretty sick little fwd. Sorry for no pics.

Do you still have those Expo wheels? If so, do they fit over the bolt heads on the stock rotor face or would I have to change that first? If so, How much would you want for them? I didn't get to see a picture of the back of the rim..

I never had all four on. I know they fit the rear. But I only have two of them. The other two got stolen.

I'm REALLY trying to get away from the centerless rotors... Press the hub apart to turn the rotor. what a joke! Can you verify that 1G Eclipse parts work? I would love to get a sealed bearing and top hat up front.

I figured out that the wide-band o2 that ECMLink sells with their kit, (replacement for the LC-1 & MTXL) is a Bosch 17014 that Autozone carries for $49. I was also able to cross it to a Denso number but it was twice the price. That's one of the great things about having a mom that sells autoparts for a living. I wonder if the Denso might be a better sensor for our cars seeing as how their not European... Any thoughts?

Your right, the stock hubs are a joke. That's why I used 96 hyundai sontana hubs, but I will verify that DSM and gvr4 hubs will fit the hyundai elantra. Basically anything from a DSM will fit the elantra becauee all I had in my elantra was dsm parts, lol.

Awseome patch harness. I really need to make mine longer, my wife is getting tired of stepping over the ecu when she gets into the car. If you can dig up a 501 MAF, I can give you my settings :). An EVO 8 MAF/Injector combo would make life really easy though.

Nice to see another A/T BlackBox user :supz: .
