Been having a bit of an issue starting the Cyborg lately. For the past few years( ) it's been doing something where every now and then when starting it, it'll fire on the first crank and sit there dying at 200rpm until I kick the gas and then it springs into life. It does this completely randomly, sometimes won't do it for weeks, sometimes does it every day. Main reason it bothers me is cause obviously firing on the first crank with a cold motor, it hasn't had a chance to build up any oil pressure, so as it struggles for life at 200rpm it's also bone dry and rattles for a few seconds :-? It's gotten to the point where if I have time i'll unplug the CAS and crank it for a few seconds before I plug it back in and start it up.

So that's been happening. But the other week I went to start it, and it just cranked endlessly and didn't fire at all. I got out, checked all the plugs, CAS, coil pack, all the ECU plugs etc etc. Everything seemed fine. Tried for another 2-3mins or so to get it started but it didn't want to fire at all. Was out at the time so I was about to call up for a tow, but then decided for some reason to roll the car back a meter and try again. It fired up straight away *doh* . Didn't have a problem again for a week or so but I went to start it yesterday on my driveway and it did the same thing. Wouldn't start, let the handbrake down and roll back a little, started straight away.

Anyone got any ideas? Cause i'm stumped

Check the fuel pressure.
