180,274 (290109.4 km) on the '92 Summit and the car is falling apart. Transmission failing, suspension clunking, rotors warped, head gasket leak (water into cyl), oil leak, Idle speed not adjusting. Besides that it's a great car.
i wish mine took all the abuse yours could handle although i always was topping out on the way back from turboshawns on my favorite road :supz:

412000km, or at least somewhere near that, plus or minus 1000km.

spun a bearing autocrossing it, replaced the engine, and it was running great, till i sucked a gallon of water into it :p

'89 Plymouth Colt 4g15, 4 speed, bought brand new in April '89 for $5800. Currently has 250,000 miles on it. Transmission started popping out of gear around 160,000 (in '96), replaced with 5-speed junkyard tranny which is still in there. This was the only thing that ever went wrong with it.

However, car has not been driven since '02 and hasn't started now in probably 3 years. Was VERY hard to start at the end in '02. Had to crank SEVERAL times in the morning. Engine would stumble a little more each time before finally catching and running. Rest of the day it was fine, then the same thing the next morning. Thought it was the fuel pump, so I pulled the tank and bought a new pump, but the "holster" for the pump got damaged in the process and was badly corroded anyway, so there it sits. Can't find a replacement "holster" without forking over $500 to the dealer for the "holster"/pump combo (they won't sell them separately). Would LOVE to get it running again, but so much to do, so little time to do it (and still no part anyway)...

I read awhile back in a mag article when buying a used car look to make sure the digits are aligned evenly mostly the first and second digit if there off a good amount someone turned the clock back. Other things to look at are the pedals if there worn out.

And buying some o-z lancer wheels for it on sunday. geting them coated in rota gold and.

While i was added i want to do the big brake from the elantra. or if somehow can show me were i can grind of the knucle to make the vr4 rotor fit. and then just get the dual piston caliper. and get the custom brakcket to make it align.

Anybody can show me how to do this i will highly appreciate it.. And i also wanna drop it. can i put 1g dsm springs on the colt strut?..

I will get pics of my car since i havent i will buy a camera tomorow.
