To the members who have power windows, how well do they work? I know the ones on my old 1g always had issues...

I've got 93% of the parts to install a set, and now I'm thinking on not going through with it...

I'm more concerned with if they have the same issues as 1g's for when the windows don't want to stay on the tracks...

Nate, forgot to mention this on aim but the power windows were very slow on the 89 1.6L summit sedan that I had. I think there was one that I had to help up on a regular basis too. I never bothered to tinker with it to see if I could fix it so it could have been an easy fix, who knows?

The slowness could possibly be fixed by running a relay / power wire set up much like the fuel pump rewire, just a thought.
