I was wondering who all here has a NT 63t swap in their Colt and how does it run? Is it decently quick? How does it do on gas mileage? Anyone ever have emissions done on it? Any pics? How is it for reliability? Just wondering...

I have a turbo swap missing all the turbo bits right now. Since the compression is lower its probably not a good comparison. When I took it to the track on street tires it ran in the mid 10s in the 1/8th. I get around 28ish MPG and its fun to drive around. Its as reliable as anything (depends on what parts you have and how well you take care of them).

Mine had a 4G63na for about 3 years exactly. It was uber reliable. I felt so comfortable taking it on trips that I once drove it to the Brent area of Algonquin to camp with my sister, then came home and changed the oil. Next morning I packed the girlfriend and kid in the car and drove straight to Mammoth Caves Kentucky. Not one issue at all.

It use to hit around 65mph in the 1/8th and do maybe tens IIRC. All I ever did to it was belt maintenence, and water pump, (all preventative) and the valve seals when it started smoking.

I think I got around 30-32 mpg highway.

I thought it was peppy... then I got my doors blown off in the 1/8th mile by a 4wd hemi Charger with four people in it. Next season I had an EIII 16g :P .

I'm working on that swap right now with a few extra goodies in mind for gas mileage and power... Keep tuned to my thread http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=27451 Thanks
