haha, yeah, you are so right man... thats what really turned me on to the swap. These things weigh almost nothing in stock form and you dont have to worry about taking out the ac, heat, rear seats, etc for weight savings because you can get these cars for pocket change. Oh, and dont forget about the manual steering . I mean, it's almost a better bang for the buck than a 1g. I bought an 89 colt hatch for $200 and i already have enough 1g parts laying around to have a complete motor to go into it.

Same here, weight savings is awesome. They will be in when you leave them like they are sitting still. I"m in Atlanta,Ga. Not far away! :cheers:

i live down in sebastian florida...about 45 minutes south of melbourne.....i got two colts but one is in the garage on bricks....are there any south florida dsm or csm clubs?

There has been a rise of numbers of people with colts in florida it seems since I first got involved with them. TheDon, did you swap yours from a 4g15 or from an origional 61t car? We could definately have a meet pretty soon here.
