Weighing options right now. Might go down there. What is it like? I don't want to just be dealing with Cletus and his pick ups.

It's really nice down there. Great seasons. Not much to do in terms of night life though.

I'm in the Upstate of SC.

I see you are from Bristol CT, My GF is from Burlington. I like it in Burlington better than here in SC in my opinon, lol. But, I think that's because it's new and not like the "boonies" where I live.

We were talking about moving up there near her family, but we have decided to stay in the Upstate of SC around the Spartanburg/Greenville area.

Winters here are much better than yours up there. Hardly any snow, not anywhere near as cold, and at least if you wanted, you can wash your car in the winter here.

I love the spring/summer in CT though, down here it's humid as hell.

As stated, not much to do in the night life unless you go to the major cities.

All and all, I guess it's not too bad here, but our summers sure are hot.

Right now it is 50/50 either way. I want CT summer and SC winters. lol. I guess I can't win? This area is not bad, but super expensive. I was in Farmington until recently. I just don't know. Maybe I will stick around here for another year and then look into it again. My parents are retiring to Savannah Lakes. I don't know much about that area. I mean I am all set here, own my own house, but with what I payed here I could prob get a ballin house down there.
