If the weather does indeed hold out, I will probably be the last one there. I want to leave fairly early, but I'm not going to be there when the gates open at 6.

Looks like we are ON!

My cell (number has been removed for privacy), if anyone wants to meet up give me a call. I will be leaving shortly.

Not too windy, not too cold, and no rain. Pretty nice this year. Only score was a new decal for my aircleaner. :|

only real findings were tools and electrical connectors. Oh yeah, and I bought a 4G63 roller rocker that had a keychain on it. Its all about the people watching.
I would agree with mechacode, perfect weather for such an event...cool, overcast.
kjmerkel, I caught your post too late! Planning on attending fall jefferson? Anyone get a card with the date for fall jefferson???????

September 23-24. As for people watching, I did see a guy with a white beard that would have put zz top to shame and another guy with a mega mullet checking out an 80's camaro. Anyone else see the 4x4 camaro? 3 1/2 Hours of walking around and I still missed a few aisles. Lots of food vendors this year as well. $1 for a 12oz can of dew? No thanks.

Guess that depends on when you are talking about, it was OK when I got there but the rain arrived earlier than predicted. Wind, cold, and rain I can handle individually, but when the three get together it wears me out, and that's what happened today. I stayed as long as I could before I couldnt't take any more.

http://www.jeffersonswapmeet.com/ has all the dates. I may end up putting the wagon into a car corral if no one buys it here....

I saw the 4x4 camaro, and have to comment that they did an OK job on it too. Ive seen lots worse over the years!
Anyone see a swap stand with a 6" trailer hitch ball (95lb hitch ball) attached to a geo tracker reciever? A friend of a friend made it, was a definite attention getter all day.

Felt a couple drops when I got there at 9 but it was good weather until I left at almost 1. Started raining here in watertown at about 3 though.

Was standing right next to the guy that bought a rusted to crap 68/69 charger while he pulled it out on a trailor, almost taking out the support pole of the tent I was standing in.

There's always Waukesha and Elkhorn, too. Plus, if you want to count the Skip's shows (http://www.skipsusa.com/) in Grayslake, there are lots of opportunities.

It's that time again. Won't be going this time around, don't you love it when a family member needs to borrow money right before you spend it? Oh well, the cutlass needed a little attention anyways.
