Anyone else in the SE wisconsin region heading out there? Rumor is that ALL the swap spaces were sold so there's gonna be a ton of parts there.

Yea, it's today and tomorrow, I'm just about to head out. Hopefully there won't be a million people there cuz of the weather.

Back.

I need to learn how to haggle a little better, start with a looow price. I had some guy arguing with me over $2 and some old bag wanted $200 for a cracked intake. :finga:

I covered most of what was there though, lot's of dopey little venders with 10 or so parts ( too many chevy parts  ). It was cold enough for a jacket and a hat with your hands in your pockets but I saw people with full winter gear on. The sun came out a little around noon to warm it up. The wind wasn't so bad as long as you stayed in a row, all the trailors and cars blocked it but the dust was a PITA, you face the wrong way with a gust and your eyes are full of crap. As long as you stayed moving, you stayed warm which facilitated a good area coverage.

You see that red colt that was for sale on the main gate road outside the fairgrounds? The one with the dune buggy parked on top of it?

I went. Funding was limited, but I got a dealer brochure for the wagon. I almost got some European Colt/Lancer brochures too, but I think they were in Finnish.

The first round of storms knocked the power out for a second or so. When the next batch came through, the sirens sounded, so I decided to head out. I might have stayed longer but a blister developed on my left foot.

Car Corral was more interesting to wander through than the show itself.

The pictures are worth looking at :) I like the massey-fergusson snowmobile, hard to not appreciate such a mint piece of vintage machinery. (well for us Wisconsinites anyways) The camaro jacket is the best.

I just about spit on the computer screen when I saw the Camaro jacket! I totally forgot about that one! :)
